This week on CAR WASH Magazine Live™ we are joined by Car Wash Hall of Famer, Bill Martin who is the owner of Metro Express Car Wash. With a history of being part of some of the best-known companies in car washing, Bill will be joined by his son Derek to share how they stay ahead of the curve when it comes to industry trends.
We had the opportunity to visit with Stuart Williams of Mr. Clean just before the company accelerated its growth in 2020. Big things are planned for this well-known consumer brand. Listen in to hear what they're upto.

The Cool Wave Washplex, which was slated to open this week in Newport News, Virginia, will be incorporating a “family experience” into each car wash. The owner, Bobby Willis, said it will be like a car wash and theme park ride combined into one. The script will change weekly and Willis already has a team of people working on the all-original content.
Patrons paying a visit to the Knockout Car Wash in Guiderland, New York, on Halloween were greeted by a cast of characters handing out candy in a socially distant setting. Inside the car wash, there were special treatments with laser lights, foaming wash and spray. All of the donations raised during this event will be going directly to the Guilderland Food Pantry.

Mammoth Holdings, LLC, an Atlanta-based conveyor car wash operator, has acquired Papa’s Express Tunnel Car Wash, an express conveyor car wash in Saratoga Springs, Utah. Mammoth is the eighth largest express conveyor car wash operator in the United States and has a portfolio that includes Marc-1, Wash Me Fast, Swifty, Ultra, Finish Line, Wiggy Wash, Shine On and PitStop, among others.
ModWash has acquired five car wash locations previously owned by Zips Express Car Wash. These new acquisitions are part of the car wash’s rapid strategic growth plan, deploying over $200M in capital over the course of 24 months. All five washes are scheduled to open or reopen under the new ownership by the end of November 2020.
