Uber Promises 100% Electric Vehicles by 2040
  
Uber Technologies Inc said every vehicle on its global ride-hailing platform will be electric by 2040, and it vowed to contribute $800 million through 2025 to help drivers switch to battery-powered vehicles, including discounts for vehicles bought or leased from partner automakers.

4 Seasons Car Wash Donating Event Proceeds

The 4 Seasons Car Wash in Liverpool , N.Y., says it will be donating 100% of it proceeds on September 11 to the Annal Family, who lost their two young daughters in a crash on the Thruway. The car wash says all proceeds from car washes in the Super Shine Wash Tunnel will be donated directly to the family. They will also be providing car wash specials for those who stop in to support.

Charlie's Car Wash Raises Funds for YANA
Michael Seib the owner of Charlie’s Auto Wash in Courtenay, B.C., debuted its first Car Wash for YANA and has already raised almost $2,000 for the organization. YANA (You Are Not Alone) is a community organization offering help to Comox Valley families who need to travel for medical services for their children.
Bliss Opens Eighth Eco-Friendly Car Wash
Los Angeles-based Bliss Car Wash announced the opening a new Santa Paula location, the eighth among its eco-friendly car washes. The new car wash will use technology that continually monitors freshwater usage, keeping it down to about 24 gallons per car wash, and using 70% reclaimed water. Bliss also uses cleaning products that are biodegradable and utilizes low-energy consuming machinery.
