Source: The New York TimesA Japanese company, SkyDrive, said it had completed a manned test flight of its electrical vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) machine, the SD-03 model. The aircraft has one seat and operates with eight motors and two propellers on each corner. It lifted about 10 feet into the air, the company said.

GO Car Wash has acquired eight Bee Clean sites in San Antonio, Texas, consisting of seven existing locations and one location under development that is expected to open this fall. GO Car Wash now operates 31 locations in three regions with several additional sites in development.
ZIPS Car Wash is opening two new locations, one in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the other in Asheville, North Carolina. The new center in Cincinnati is ZIPS second location in the area, and its newest center in Asheville marks the company’s first location on the southeastern side of the city.

A local car club, Loki’s Car Club, held a car show at Spruce View Car Wash in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, on Aug. 23. Over 50 cars showed up. The club plans to hold the car show every Sunday, weather permitting, at Spruce View Car Wash for as long as possible.
