Cars are undergoing some massive changes, as far as fuel sources and sustainability. But,as important as those aspect are, it might be the new, cool technology that will seal the deal when decided on your next set of wheels. Here are some cars that are already in showrooms or will be within the next few months that have some sweet options.

That unused space on the roof of cars is getting a new job as place for solar cells -- as least on Hyundai's 2020 Sonata Hybrid that has an optional Solar Roof System. Also, the Polestar 2 is due this summer for its first U.S. deliveries, and the company revealed the location of some of its first showrooms, called Polestar Spaces.

School is officially out for summer and Bee Clean Car Washes based in San Antonio, Texas, has a special offer for all graduating seniors and college graduates. From June 8-12, the car wash is offering a free wash to graduates.

ProClean Auto Wash has added its 28th location in Denver by acquiring a Lowry Car Care site, according to the company’s operations manager, Kim Allen. The new location is a strategic site for ProClean Auto Wash’s geographic expansion, as the company intends to continue its acquisition plan.

Meadows Express Car Wash launched its soft opening celebration in Castle Rock, Colo., on Feb. 11, with the help of Focused Carwash Solutions. Meadows Express features a 115-foot dual belt Tommy conveyor inside a 135-foot building, with equipment by Tommy Car Wash Systems. Meadows Express also features Eurovac vacuums, a reclaim system by PUR Clean, chemicals by Simoniz, and a point-of-sale system by ICS.

The former Precision Wash in Dewitt, Iowa, has changed hands and is now operating under the name MR Wash, which had a grand opening recently. The buyers, Mike and Rachel Wiersema, also bought and fixed up a Super Wash franchise in Fulton.

Circle Marina Speedwash in Long Beach, Calif., is celebrating its grand opening by giving away free, select car washes until June 14. The state-of-the-art car wash officially opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony and tours of the environmentally-sound facility. There are 22 self-service vacuum stations and there is a staff person on hand to sanitize equipment after each use.
