Dan Pecora, owner of Erie Brush & Manufacturing, has been selected as the 2020 International Carwash Association Hall of Fame inductee. The industry’s highest honor, the Car Wash Hall of Fame was created in 1962 to recognize the innovators, leaders, and pioneers of the professional car wash industry.

The Mercedes-Benz GLA, a compact class SUV with a car wash function, is currently arriving into dealer showrooms across Ireland. The car wash function is enacted with a single command that causes exterior mirrors to fold inwards, the side windows and sliding roof to close, suppression of the rain sensor and the disabling of other settings – all of which can be automatically deactivated when the driver exits the carwash.

Autobelll Car Wash is the latest company changing things up due to COVID-19. Employees are adding an interior disinfectant option for their car washes. It’s an Environmental Protection Agency-registered and hospital-grade disinfectant. Plus, it's free for essential workers; first responders and government employees.

A company with operations across Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas plans to construct and open a new car wash along a highly visible area in Hamilton. Kings Carwash Express will offer tunnel car washes and will also feature access to free vacuums and other amenities, including the use of free microfiber towels, window cleaning solution, cleaner/degreaser and a free mat washing machine.

A Colorado Springs car wash wants to thank those who are putting their health on the line to provide essential services during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Water Works Car Wash and Detail Center has announced it'll be offering free car washes to all essential employees this coming weekend, April 24-26.
Rainforest Car Wash is doing their part to give back to their local communities, offering free car washes to all health care workers and giving free washes to those who support local restaurants by ordering take-out. All three Rainforest Car Wash locations in Ohio, Brunswick, Medina, and Cleveland Heights, are participating.

The Times Media Co. announced the launch of its Local Marketing Grant program. This program offers matching marketing funds to local businesses whose livelihood has been impacted by the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus. Grants will range from $250 to $15,000 each month and will be awarded in April, May and June.
