GAC Motor Co. and Geely Automobile Holdings are upgrading the technology in air filtration systems to protect vehicle occupants from the deadly coronavirus. GAC said it will upgrade the system for free for existing car buyers. And starting next month, vehicles will be fitted with the upgraded system before delivery, GAC said. GAC said the upgraded filtration capability matches that of an N95 face mask.

Moo Moo Express Car Wash proudly announces the donation of $9,353.06 to Local Matters to help further their mission of building healthy communities through food education, access and advocacy. The donations were collected from Moo Moo Express customers at the company’s South High Grand Opening/Free Wash Week held January 3-12, 2020 at the 3580 South High St., Columbus, Ohio location.

WaterPark Car Wash in Moline, Ill., known for its glass block construction, free popcorn and indoor aquariums, has been sold to another car wash operator, Clean Sweep Car Wash, Inc., which
operates Pro-Clean Car Wash & Detailing. The car wash facilities will transition to Pro-Clean Car Wash & Detailing branches within the next few months. Remodeling is scheduled to be completed in March.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will be getting two new Mister Car Wash locations this weekend, as two grand openings are planned. Free Platinum Express car washes and free car care kits will be offered during the celebration. Mister Car Wash will employ nearly 70 people in the area after its two new stores are opened. The company currently operates 326 car washes and 31 express lubes in 21 states.

A Rise & Shine express car wash is being proposed for Manteca, Wisc. It would be built next to a 10-acre storm retention basin. This would be the 14th car wash in Manteca.
