The second year of the Executive Management Institute is now accepting applications. Taught by executive education faculty, this immersive week of strategic business, financial, and leadership training connects an intimate group of car washers as they build a life-long network of like-minded professionals. All participants receive an official certificate from the University of Notre Dame upon completion.

GO Car Wash continues its Kansas City market expansion with the acquisition of nine Belfonte’s Car Wash sites. This acquisition gives GO Car Wash a total of 18 locations in the Kansas City market.

Tidal Wave Auto Spa splashes into the new year with the opening of two Florida locations, Pace and Lutz, bringing the total to 44 locations across 7 states for the fast-growing company.

Cloud10 car wash is scheduled to open in March on Woodbury-Glassboro Road in Sewell, N.J. The completely new construction car wash features state-of-the-art technologies and the most environmentally safe cleaning products. Currently, they have locations in four states and have multiple washes slated to open in 2020.

The Champaign, Ill., planning commission recommended the city council approve changes to its parking requirements for theaters so a car wash can open next to the AMC multiplex. Columbia, Mo.-based Club Car Wash wants to open a tunnel-style facility just east of the theater, but would use about 178 of the 726 parking spaces AMC currently has.

Karan Gupta, who operates several other car washes in the area, recently purchased the Buccaneer Car Wash in Milford, Del. Gupta has already added many services and options to the existing line selections at the car wash and is actively seeking feedback from customers on what they want in a car wash. Future plans already include offering free vacuums with the purchase of a car wash and unlimited monthly wash packages.
