The Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) was recently recognized by the Los Angeles Better Buildings Challenge (LABBC) for its strides in energy savings. The LACC received the "Walk the Walk Energy Award" for its innovative strategies for harnessing solar power, namely a 2.21 megawatt solar panel array capable of reducing energy consumption at LACC by more than 11 percent.

A recent survey of more than 14,000 workers in 12 countries found that two in five would prefer to work on special projects than get a promotion. In addition, more than 50 percent of Generation Z workers prefer to have variety in their day-to-day work and three in four stated that working on special projects helped them grow in ways not found in their daily work routine.
