When writing a letter of references for a temporary foreign worker employee who wants to immigrate to Canada, employers are required to provide very specific information. So, what happens if an employer's letter of reference does not include the required information? The federal court case of Mollajaferi v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration) shows that an inaccurate or too general a reference letter can lead to an employee's immigration application being denied. Read more here
