Diana (Diane) Wiesenthal, FCPHR, presenting Strategic HR...Connecting all the Dots to the Bottom-line

Diana created and leads a company called “Corporate People Responsibility®, (CPRinc®) Ltd.

Previously she was a member of the executive team for the Canadian Wheat Board (CWB) as Vice President, People & Organizational Services. She led the organization to award winning status year over year that consistently recognized the CWB as a strategic and innovative leader, overseeing the HR transition and one of the most complex organizational closures in the country.

She is a past President of the North American Human Resource Management Association (NAHRMA), Canadian Council of Human Resource Associations (CCHRA), and CPHR Manitoba. 

Introducing a Culture of Safety by Sue Roth, SafeWork Manitoba 

Sue is the Safety Culture Specialist at SAFE Work Manitoba. Sue's background is founded in social work, mental health and disability management. Her passion for safety and health comes after working for several years with seriously injured workers and their families.

For the past few years, her work has focused on many initiatives underway at SAFE Work Manitoba, including development of the Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace Strategy and an evaluation framework for safety culture within workplaces and the province.. 

Managing Mental Health & the Workplace by Randy Grieser, ACHIEVE Centre for Leadership & Workplace Performance

Randy is the founder and CEO of ACHIEVE Centre for Leadership & Workplace Performance and the Crisis & Trauma Resource Institute (CTRI). He holds a Master of Social Work degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Conflict Resolution. He is a visionary leader who, together with a team of employees and trainers, has positioned these organizations to be two of the premier providers of professional development training in the industry.

Human Capital Trends by Catherine Schinkel, Deloitte

Catherine is a leader in Deloitte’s Human Capital Consulting practice, and specializes in Human Resources Transformation. She works closely with her clients to understand their business and to develop HR systems and strategies that support their goals and objectives. With 20+ years working in human resources across a variety of functions and industries, she enjoys sharing what she has learned with those that she works work with and mentors, and has had the pleasure of teaching students in the U of Manitoba and U of Winnipeg HR Certificate programs.
