Learning Styles: Fact or Fiction? - Brian Thwaits

The theory of different learning styles introduced in the 1980's had many believing that educators should cater to individual learning style preferences to optimize learning. Failure to prove this theory in controlled tests has experts suggesting this may not be the case. Maximum learning may result from utilizing numerous methods, involving more areas of the brain.
