New Legislation Provides Leave for Domestic-Violence Victims - Nick Martin, Winnipeg Free Press

As of June 1, amendments to the Employment Standards Act will allow victims of domestic violence a right to 10 days of leave (5 paid). It is currently unclear how this will be communicated to both employees and employers. Read more here
