SATTERFIELD & PONTIKES CONSTRUCTION NAMES VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

HOUSTON, TX. (March 17, 2022) Carmen Houston Ryan has been named Vice President of Marketing & Communications for Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, Inc. (S&P). In this role, Ryan will lead a team across the company’s four offices in Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio to further establish the S&P brand, support business development efforts, and reinforce the company’s community presence.

Ryan brings more than 20 years of project management, communications and marketing expertise to S&P, most recently as director of marketing and business development for Pape-Dawson Engineers where she supported statewide initiatives and helped its Houston office achieve significant growth.

Previously, Ryan led marketing and communications for GEOSCIENCE, one of California’s largest hydrogeologic services consultancies. She also helped BE&K Building Group establish new offices in its South Central region. Earlier in her career, she was marketing communications manager for the healthcare design firm, FKP, now Cannon Design, and led a broad range of consulting assignments at The Lentz Group.

“Carmen’s knowledge of the construction industry as well as her expertise in integrated marketing and communications make her the perfect individual to lead our marketing team and work closely with our Business Unit and COE leadership,” says Matt Daniel, Corporate Vice President at S&P. “Marketing plays a critical role in our ability to win business and enhance the S&P brand, and Carmen’s leadership absolutely will solidify our efforts in this regard.”
