A special thanks to Charlie Gerston, United Tool & Fastener, for sponsoring the Safety Committee February 23, 2018 and for bringing out fall protection demonstration equipment. After the meeting, attendees headed outside to watch Gerston hoist Safety Committee member Wesley Dobek, DeWalt Power Tools, on the fall protection trailer to demonstrate and discuss safety measures. Gerston also showcased the new Werner Lean Safe Step Ladder and Podium Ladder, designed to securely lean against flat wall surfaces, wall corners, poles, and wall studs and perform as a standard stepladder.
