AGC/AIA Golf Tournament Draws A/E/C Community & Raises $25,000 For ACE Mentor

Over 250 golfers headed out to the AGC/AIA Golf Tournament on Monday at Champions Golf Club. Players represented all aspects of the commercial construction industry, including many architects and owners as well. It’s hard to say whether the draw was the pristine golf course, the comradery amongst the players or the fabulous weather – but whatever it was brought out the best of the best for this golf event.

Not one, but two players made a hole in one on the Cypress Creek Course – home to prestigious golf tournaments like the US Open and Ryder Cup. Congratulations to Charlie Getman, Cokinos | Young and Trey Wilkinson, Trinity Legacy Partners, LLC.

The tournament raised $25,000 for ACE Mentor Program of Houston plus the auction earnings from a special bench built by Program participants and mentors and painted by local artist Daniel Anguilu.

AGC Houston and AIA Houston would like to thank the 2017 Golf Committee and our major sponsors Peckar & Abramson, Walker Engineering, Rogers-O’Brien Construction and Tellepsen.
