AGC Members Lead Safety Stand-Down Events Across Houston

Since May 6, AGC members have been conducting Safety Stand-Down demonstrations on jobsites, warehouses and offices across the Houston area. Companies of all sizes have been hosting toolbox talks (both in English and in Spanish) on a variety of topics and fall protection demonstrations.
“Exposing construction workers to safety demonstrations throughout our members’ area jobsites is an effective way to demonstrate common hazards of a jobsite, particularly as they relate to falls and common accidents,” stated AGC Houston Director of Safety Services, Kim Mason.
Many thanks to the AGC Houston vendors who have been offering their safety services at no charge and to BodyArmour Sports Drink for delivering and donating refreshing drinks to safety stand-down events throughout the area.
