Marek Brothers Systems, Inc.'s Mike Holland To Take Part in Covenant House "Executive Sleep Out"

Why would some of Houston's top executives sleep outdoors, under adverse condition, on cardboard boxes? Marek Brothers Systems, Inc. COO, Mike Holland, says it's easy when compared to what many Houston youth are going through. Holland, who has been taking part in Covenant House's event for the past six years, raising awareness about what homeless youths face every day. Holland and the organization's director, Leslie Bourne, recently spoke to KPRC TV's Khambrel Marshall about National Sleep Out, which will take place tonight across the country and in Canada. The Covenant House's outreach program is not just to provide temporary housing and medical treatment to at-risk kids, but to offer skills training so that they can get back on their feet. The organization also helps youths caught in human trafficking. Mike Holland has raised more than $50,000 for Covenant House.
