Cokinos manages the firm and has earned the reputation as one of the most preeminent lawyers in his field. Gregory was the first attorney in Houston to be inducted into the American College of Construction Lawyers, and in 2002 he founded the Construction Law Journal, where he continues to serve as editor. Gregory has been ranked as one of the Top 100 Super Lawyers in the State of Texas by Thomson Reuters for many years, and is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. In addition, Gregory, Marc Young and the firm have a Tier 1 ranking by Chambers USA.
Marc Young left Houston and started the San Antonio office in 2007, which has now grown to be one of the largest law firms in the area, and the largest law firm concentrating in construction law. He now manages Cokinos | Young’s newest office in Austin. Marc, who is board certified in personal injury trial law by the Texas board of legal specialization, has been named a Texas Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters every year from 2006-2016, a distinction awarded to only five percent of lawyers statewide, and is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He is the 2016-2017 chair of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC) Trial Tactics, Practice and Procedures Section, a member of the FDCC’s Trial Master’s Program, and is a former chair of their Construction Law Section.
