"We are honored to continue working with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the country," said Jim Stevenson, McCarthy Houston Division President. "With our expertise in healthcare construction and extensive work within the Texas Medical Center, we are confident in our ability to meet the unique project needs for this facility, enabling Texas Children’s to provide even more families with a healthier future."

Texas Children’s, currently ranked fourth in the nation by U.S. News & World Report for Best Children’s Hospitals, is widely recognized for its expertise in patient care, education and research for pediatric and women’s health.

This will be McCarthy’s second clinic project for Texas Children’s in Houston, following the Texas Children’s Health Plan Center for Children and Women Southwest completed in September 2014. In addition to Texas Children’s, other Specialized Solutions Group projects include work for Baylor College of Medicine, Houston Methodist Hospital and CHI/St. Luke’s.

As one of the nation’s most trusted builders and a 2016 top-10 Houston-area commercial contractor, McCarthy’s extensive resume of healthcare, laboratory and higher education-related construction experience makes it ideally suited to take on projects of any size or complexity.
