JE Dunn Construction Celebrates Grand Opening Of New Westin Hotel In The Woodlands

On Friday, April 15, 2016, members of the JE Dunn Construction team attended the grand opening celebration of the 302-room Westin at The Woodlands Hotel in The Woodlands. Overlooking the Waterway, the 13-level building features 24,000 square feet of meeting space, an outdoor pool, a workout studio, a business center, retail restaurants, lobby bar and a second-level pool deck that connects to the fountains at Waterway Square.
An atrium-like foyer is the focal point of the highly flexible meeting and events level, which opens onto a waterside terrace on one end and the 6,000-square-foot Edgewater Ballroom on the other. The hotel was designed by Boston-based Elkus Manfredi Architects and the Houston office of Gensler. The project was developed by The Howard Hughes Corporation and Westin Hotels & Resorts.
