Gilbane Building Co. Promotes Angela Cotie

"This is a well-deserved recognition of the leadership role that Angela has played since she joined Gilbane", said Dan Gilbane, Southwest Division Leader. "She has been a terrific leader not only on her project sites but also as a mentor and in the community, particularly through her involvement in ACE, and we look forward to more great things to come from her in the future."

Angela is a graduate of Penn State University with a B.A.E. in Architectural Engineering and is a LEED Accredited Professional, as well as a Certified Interior Decorator.  She is currently the Chairman for the Houston ACE Mentor Program and most recently is working on a team to support the building playhouse program for Girls, Inc. in Houston. Angela volunteers her time with other numerous local community organizations throughout the year including Galveston Career Connect, and the Boy Scouts Bay Area Council.
