This brand new, members-only, two-day conference will feature real judges, real jurors, and real GTLA lawyers demonstrating their skills — jury selection, opening statements, directs and crosses, etc. In contrast to the normal CLE where speakers explain what they do at trial, this setting will allow presenters to show the audience.

The Watch Me CLE will take place at the Andaz Savannah on Friday, January 27th - Saturday January 28th. GTLA has reserved a block of rooms, but reservations must be made by Monday, December 26th.

Last week, the New Lawyers Division hosted a "Frozen"-themed holiday party for the children and families at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, complete with games, prizes, face painting and a photo booth! This is just one example of the amazing things that our NLD Committee is doing for their communities, and they are asking you to get involved as well!

During their visit, NLD members were told about The Zone at Children's Healthcare, which is a community playroom offering games, movies, music, books and other distractions for the patients. The Zone operates solely off of donations and was in particular need of Disney and other children's movies.

The NLD is asking for the help of GTLA members to donate any gently used movies, books or games to The Zone. Contact information for donations, as well as their "Wish List," can be found by clicking the link below.
