Women's Trial Lawyer Caucus

The GTLA Women's Trial Lawyer Caucus joined our Legislative Team under the Gold Dome on Thursday, March 10 for our Lawyer of the Day program. During their annual trip to the Capitol, Women's Caucus members had the chance to meet with GTLA's Member-Legislators, visit with Governor Deal in his office (pictured), join the Legislative Team for our morning meeting, host a catered lunch with members of the House Judiciary Committee and so much more. It was a great time had by all, and we enjoyed having the Women's Caucus with us at the Capitol!

Civil Justice PAC
We are now just two legislative days away from the Sine Die adjournment  of the Georgia General Assembly and, while this has proven to be a contentious term at the Capitol as legislators grapple with a number of hot-button issues, GTLA's Legislative Team continues to zealously advocate for the rights of your clients and your practices under the Gold Dome. After next Thursday, the election cycle will begin anew as candidates speed towards the primary elections. We have to make sure that we are prepared!
Your Civil Justice PAC will receive hundreds of requests – literally – for campaign contributions from every corner of Georgia.  While we will not contribute to everyone, we will certainly be active in ensuring that pro-Civil Justice candidates are supported in their bids for office. In order to put (and keep) candidates in office who support your clients’ right to trial by jury, we must act now to ensure that our PAC has the resources necessary to reach our goals.
Whether you are a previous donor or a first-time contributor, we are eager for you to give to the PAC in 2016.  For more information, please email Executive Director Caroline McLean at mcarolinemclean@gmail.com. Thank you!
