Georgia Trial Lawyers Association Selects 2019-2020 LEAD Program Class

ATLANTA – The Georgia Trial Lawyers Association has announced the selections for the 2019-2020 Leadership Education & Advanced Direction (LEAD) Program. Now beginning its seventh year, the widely-acclaimed LEAD Program serves to train and equip GTLA members who have been identified as potential leaders in the Association with the necessary tools to take the next steps in their legal careers, both in and out of the courtroom.

After an extensive application review and selection process, 17 attorneys were chosen to participate in the 2019-2020 GTLA LEAD Program. They are as follows:

"The GTLA LEAD Program chooses, and ultimately produces, the most talented future leaders for our association year-in and year-out," remarked Dan Snipes, President of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. "These 17 attorneys have proven themselves to be the very best among a highly competitive field of applicants, and I cannot wait to work with them throughout this year and see how they grow as a class and as individuals."

The GTLA LEAD Program consists of qualified applicants with less than 10 years of legal practice experience or those who are 35 years of age or younger. The 2019-2020 LEAD Program will feature seven sessions beginning at the end of August in Athens, Georgia and concluding with graduation at the GTLA Annual Convention & President’s Gala in Atlanta on April 23-24, 2020.

"The LEAD Program was one of the best personal and professional development programs in which we have participated," stated LEAD Program Co-Chairs Sachi Cole and Dustin Davies. "This class represents the best of GTLA, covering 8 cities across the state and bringing with them a wealth of legal knowledge, diverse backgrounds, and community involvement. We are thrilled to welcome and congratulate them on being accepted to the 2019 – 2020 LEAD Class!"
