Welcome West Metro TLA to Facebook!

The West Metro Trial Lawyers Association invites all GTLA members to connect with them on Facebook, where their TLA will announce upcoming meetings, guest speakers, community events and much more! It will also provide a forum for members to share ideas, stay up-to-date with their local TLA and personally connect with other area trial lawyers. 

West Metro TLA Chairman Jack Clay stated, "The strength of GTLA is fortified at the local level throughout the state. From Coastal Georgia to the mountains of North Georgia, local trial lawyer associations are thriving. I started the West Metro TLA in late 2009 and was amazed at how quickly we took off after our first evening mixer. So far, we've had six appellate judges from the Georgia Court of Appeals and Supreme Court join us and speak in addition to Attorney General Sam Olens and Congressman Bob Barr. I even hosted a premiere party at my office for the movie Hot Coffee which is about the McDonald's burn case. It was a hit! Extending our reach beyond lawyers and judges is important on a local level, too, and we make it a point to invite the media and our elected officials to our lunches and events. Guess what? They come and are curious about what we do. This naturally helps us spread the word about GTLA, it's mission, and our legislative efforts. Most of all, we are seen on a local level as a credible organization helping people and our community."
