Session III: Day at the Capitol and PAC Call-A-Thon

Yesterday, the LEAD Class spent the day under the Gold Dome and with GTLA and the Civil Justice PAC leadership learning all about the political workings of GTLA. After hearing from Lt. Governor Casey Cagle and fellow GTLA member Senator Blake Tillery (R-Vidalia), the class was briefed by the Legislative Team on the hot topic issues for GTLA this Session and prepped to go advocate to their local elected officials on behalf of the Civil Justice System and your clients' rights. Their last stop was a quick visit with Gov. Nathan Deal, after which they departed for Manuel's Tavern for a crash course in PAC fundraising and the vital role that the Civil Justice PAC plays in the success of our organization.
