GSAE's Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) offer one of the best resources for association executives and professionals. These self-directed groups of GSAE members focus on a particular area and delve into various topics within that area.

 

The 2024 Nominating Committee includes at-large GSAE association executive members in good standing in addition to GSAE Past Chair Mike Pennington, CAE; Chair Val Smith, CAE; and Chair Elect Amy Kane, CAE, MBA. Invited to serve this year: Becca Colbert, CMPJay Markwalter, LEC, TMPDawn Morton-Rias, Ed. D., PA-C, ICE-CCP, FACHE; Monica Smith, CMP, CASE, CDME; and Lori K. Spear, CAE.

Four seats for individual association member directors and one seat for a corporate supplier (hospitality) director will be available for two-year terms, beginning January 1, 2024. If you or someone you know would like to be considered, please watch your email for nomination information next month. All candidates must be members in good standing. Deadline for nominations will be September 29, 2023.

  • CRAM course fees are based on current/previous attendance so no discount code is needed.

TSAE's fall CAE Study Course begins on Sept. 13th with a virtual kick-off orientation.

  • Meet every Wednesday from 1:30 – 3:30 pm via Zoom
  • Review practice questions and content with experienced CAEs
  • Earn up to 18 CAE hours*
  • Access digital flash cards to assist in exam prep
  • Access mock exam
  • Experience the camaraderie and support of your course-mates (and watch out, they just may become your friends for life)
    *CAE hours may only be earned once through the study course. GSAE participants will be sent to GSAE at the completion of the course.

Virtual. This position holds primary responsibility for updating member records and maintaining the integrity of the database. In addition to regular reports on membership metrics, this position executes member service initiatives and coordinates year-round member engagement strategies. Additionally, this position will manage the mechanics of the new member application process as well as recruitment and retention efforts. This role is crucial to supporting the mission and goals of the organization. SAIS is a 501(c)(3) organization representing over 390 member schools and the 200,000+ students they serve. The mission is to strengthen member schools by providing high-quality accreditation processes, comprehensive professional growth opportunities, and visionary leadership development programs.
