The state-of-the-art facility now offers 90,000 square feet of exhibit hall space, a 21,600 square-foot ballroom, 24 versatile meeting rooms and outdoor gathering areas with landscaping enhancements. The renovation also incorporated the addition of a new food hall and upgraded technology. Completion of the 348-room Westin Atlanta Gwinnett is expected in 2024. "Versatile downtown venue aims to be Northeast Georgia’s premier event facility.”
Almost a year after it broke ground, the $126 million Classic Center Arena project has begun vertical construction on N. Thomas Street near UGA’s North Campus and other landmarks, including the Athens Banner-Herald building and several downtown hotels. - The 2023 Annual Meeting is in Charleston, SC, May 31 - June 2. Registration fee for the first association executive attendee is $399; corporate supplier exhibitor and sponsor packages range from $689 - $2,999; additional attendees from the same organization are $359 each.
- The CAE Study Group is $89 for GSAE members and will meet in the summer.

- Internship grant applications are due May 1
- Any organization in Georgia that employs at least one GSAE member may apply
- Applications will be judged on the quality of the internship experience
- It is the responsibility of the organization to recruit a qualified student to fill the internship
- Recipients will be announced during the 2023 GSAE Annual Meeting in Charleston, SC

The Council for Quality Growth supports a pro-growth, probusiness, attainable housing and transportation agenda. The Director is accountable for retaining and growing the membership base as well as organizing and implementing programs and events associated with the Council. The professional chosen to serve in the leadership position will focus on enhancing revenues through growing current members by directing a membership team, as well as directing programs' revenues and budgets.
