  ABC of Georgia Launches Podcast
ABC of Georgia is launching its new podcast, “Building Leaders Radio Hour,” this month. Check it out for a great upcoming interview with GSAE Past President Bill Anderson, CAE (he may mention GSAE involvement a time or two). Learn more

The state-of-the-art facility now offers 90,000 square feet of exhibit hall space, a 21,600 square-foot ballroom, 24 versatile meeting rooms and outdoor gathering areas with landscaping enhancements. The renovation also incorporated the addition of a new food hall and upgraded technology. Completion of the 348-room Westin Atlanta Gwinnett is expected in 2024. "Versatile downtown venue aims to be Northeast Georgia’s premier event facility.”
Almost a year after it broke ground, the $126 million Classic Center Arena project has begun vertical construction on N. Thomas Street near UGA’s North Campus and other landmarks, including the Athens Banner-Herald building and several downtown hotels.   • 200,000 total sq. ft. of exhibit hall space

  • Additional outdoor space
  • New facility entrance with an all-glass façade
  • Over a billion dollars in tourism improvements

GSAE's Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) offer one of the best resources for association executives and professionals. These self-directed groups of GSAE members focus on a particular area and delve into various topics within that area.


  • Internship grant applications are due May 1
  • Any organization in Georgia that employs at least one GSAE member may apply
  • Applications will be judged on the quality of the internship experience
  • It is the responsibility of the organization to recruit a qualified student to fill the internship
  • Recipients will be announced during the 2023 GSAE Annual Meeting in Charleston, SC

American Associations Day is also a terrific opportunity to network with peers from around the country. Atlanta, Georgia. The senior-level position is a key member of the organization's team. The Council for Quality Growth supports a pro-growth, probusiness, attainable housing and transportation agenda. The Director is accountable for retaining and growing the membership base as well as organizing and implementing programs and events associated with the Council. (NCG) is an association and event management firm that provides non-profits with strategic leadership, management, event management and administrative services and has a lot of fun doing it!
