Register today for the GSAE Holiday Luncheon, Business Meeting, Silent Auction, and Awards Show!

Please Consider Donating to the Holiday Silent Auction Today
We need you to make our holiday Silent Auction a success! We understand that it may not be feasible for you to donate in quite the way you have in the past. However, every donation, no matter what, helps us reach our goal.

The Silent Auction will be in person as well as virtual with mobile bidding, thanks to our friend Tony Rissley, Expo Auctions, and is a great way to showcase your property, product or service. Donating to the silent auction helps raise funds to continue GSAE's mission of advancing the profession of association management and enhancing the professionalism of association executives.

We are planning on bringing back the wine toss again this year! Please consider donating a bottle(s) of wine, liquor and/or beer for the GSAE Wine Toss. Attendees will purchase rings to toss - whatever they ring, they win!

Please submit your donation form today. Thank you for your support!

Huge thanks to our 2022 Annual Meeting host, Jekyll Island Authority, and their marketing department for creating such a welcoming logo. Maria Trammell and Kevin Udell cannot wait to welcome y’all June 1-3, 2022. The Pay the Pig recipient will be the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, of course. Room blocks are being set up at not 1, 2, or 3 properties, but nearly all available hotels. We’ll open those up in late September so watch your email.

As a reminder:

  1. GSAE annual dues are sent via gsae@gsae.memberclicks.net beginning in November. Always check that "from" line if you have any doubts.
  2. GSAE does not contract with third-party companies to sell our mailing list or member data. Please disregard any such fraudulent company solicitations. If you would like to rent GSAE's mailing list legitimately, you may access the contract on our forms page. We do not release your email address as part of the mailing list rental agreement - ever, per Board policy.
  3. GSAE staff or leaders will never ask you to transfer funds to a staffer, volunteer leader, or another member for any reason. If one of our leaders is actually traveling and runs into a spot of bother, they will contact a family member - not us, and not you.
  4. While we may ask you to log in to your profile to register for an event or update your contact information, we will not ask you to send your social security number, bank account information, or credit card information directly to us. Electronic and paper invoices will direct you to our secure PCI-compliant payment page or to our fax number.
  5. If you have any questions about the validity of a message from GSAE - from staff, our officers, our website or our enewsletter provider - please don't hesitate to contact us directly.

Last week, Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) reintroduced the Pandemic Risk Insurance Act (PRIA) to establish a federal backstop for financial losses due to a future pandemic or public health emergency. As you may recall, passing a PRIA-style program has been a top ASAE priority since March 2020 and we are pleased to support Rep. Maloney’s new bill. Important for our association community, PRIA includes event cancellation coverage, along with business interruption and other lines of coverage, to help navigate pandemics and public health emergencies.
