The Homewood Suites – Athens will open following the Hyatt Place – Athens, which is scheduled to open in August 2017. Missy Wilson, Director of Sales, Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau, is delighted to announce that along with a new Springhill Suites on Broad Street and additional rooms under construction at the Best Western, Athens expects to add 600 downtown hotel rooms within the next 24 months.
