Volunteers Needed for GeorgiaFIRST Robotics

GeorgiaFIRST Robotics, Inc. is a registered 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.  Our vision is to see kids excited about science and technology, have them attend one of our prestigious institutes of higher learning, and upon graduation, stay in Georgia for their careers. By doing this, we can ‘put Georgia first.’ Our best resource, our youth, contribute to the growth and sustainability of our innovative workforce.

GeorgiaFIRST Robotics is seeking volunteers for the upcoming series of high school level robotics competitions in all event areas:  Judges, Inspectors, Queuing, Field Reset, Field Set-up, Field Management, Photography, Host, Crowd Control, Etc.  (A complete listing of event volunteer roles and duties can be found at:  www.firstinspires.org – click on volunteer).  Come join us for the exciting game of SteamWorks.  Watch FIRST robotics teams unite their Crew, ready their Contraption, and prepare to take flight!

Eighty volunteers are needed each day of competition and we need you!
