Todd Hawkins, CAE, was recently promoted to Associate Executive Director of Workforce Development for IEC Atlanta/Georgia Chapters. Increased demand for skilled workers in the construction industry and predicted shortages of those workers requires a focused effort to expand the workforce with vigorous recruitment, expanded apprenticeship opportunities and safety training. Todd is thrilled with the opportunity to help people obtain careers in the electrical construction industry. He looks forward to working with other groups to coordinate change in state workforce development and recruiting mechanisms. Congratulations, Todd!
