Compelo Lynas, an ASX-listed rare earths mining company, has turned down the A$1.5bn ($1.07bn) indicative offer from Australian conglomerate Wesfarmers. Wesfarmers, in a non-binding proposal, offered to buy all the shares of Lynas at A$2.25 per share ($1.6) in an all-case deal after implementation of a scheme of arrangements.
