Still keeping manufacturers up at night is the search for talent; especially workers with specialized skills. This need has driven companies to look outside the regular channels for workers. One organization that is helping to fill the gap is Ability Beyond, a non-profit agency offering residential, job training and placement career counseling, cognitive and life skills instruction, clinical and therapeutic support and volunteer and recreational services for adults with disabilities.

IoT and blockchain are two technologies that are both better when they are used together. If we look at IoT and blockchain as separate technologies, they are limited in their respective applications. However, by combining them, and then adding artificial intelligence (AI) to the mix, we can see the creation of a secure IoT-based application platform.

Carmakers in the U.S. and Europe had too much of a head start for China to catch up. The only way to undo the rest of the world, then, was to bet on a whole new technology. Enter electric vehicles, which require less mechanical complexity and rely more on electronic prowess. Plus, China already had an electronic manufacturing supply chain in place from its years of producing the world’s batteries, phones, and gadgets.
