Output at U.S. factories increased in April as operations at plants that were damaged by February’s stormy weather in the South came back online, offsetting a decline in the production of motor vehicles. Manufacturing production rose 0.4% last month after surging 3.1% in March, according to the Federal Reserve. Manufacturing production remains a touch below its pre-pandemic level.

According to permits submitted by Tesla to the City of Fremont, Tesla will begin to anchor and install Comau’s products that entail highly automated and effective manufacturing techniques that are designed for electric vehicles.
