OGA Staff Updates

Effective May 15, 2015, Kristen Bussell will be resigning from the OGA to pursue a new and exciting opportunity. Kristen has been a valuable asset since joining the OGA in 2012. I know many of you have had the opportunity to get to know Kristen over the years, so I know that you will regret her departure as much as we do.

We wish her the best of luck in her new role as Public Affairs Manager at Hicks Partners, a multidisciplinary business consulting firm providing public relations, government affairs and business development services. Kristen has been working closely to help train the newest addition to the OGA, Courtney Saunders. Courtney recently joined us from Capitol Advocates, a Columbus based lobbying firm. Prior to working for Capitol Advocates, Courtney worked in the Ohio House of Representatives as a policy adviser to former Speaker of the House, Jon Husted.

Before working in state government, Courtney served as the Director of the Meigs County Chamber of Commerce.  She is originally from Gallipolis, Ohio, and is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Communication. Courtney resides in Galloway with her husband, Isaac and daughter, Caroline.
