--Program’s finale episode includes footage of the Edward Andrews Design Center in Alpharetta as well as homes from the builder’s Marseille and Preserve at Reed Mill communities--

Atlanta-based custom home builder Edward Andrews Homes will be featured extensively in the upcoming finale of Fox’s reality TV competition, HOME FREE, airing Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 9 p.m ET/PT. The show, which premiered this July, follows nine deserving couples as they complete several challenges and work to revive older homes around Atlanta that are in need of repairs and renovations – all for the opportunity to win a grand-prize dream home built by Edward Andrews.

HOME FREE is unique in that as far as the competing couples understand, following the completion of each project, one couple is eliminated from the competition; however, viewers know that show host Mike Holmes (from HGTV's "Holmes on Homes") and the HOME FREE team have a surprise for the departing contestants – on HOME FREE everyone wins a home! While only the final couple wins the grand-prize Edward Andrews home, the other eight competing teams receive one of the homes showcased during the competition.

"A home is way more than brick and mortar. So being part of this new series and partnering with Fox is truly exciting for me," said Mike Holmes. "I’m ready to break ground with these couples. It’s going to be a lot of sweat and tears, but I promise you, all worth it in the me on this."

Edward Andrews’ exposure on HOME FREE will not be limited to the grand-prize dream home, which is located in Forsyth County’s Marseille community. A second Edward Andrews home in the Gwinnett County community of Preserve at Reed Mill serves as the location of the show’s final challenge. Because the Gwinnett home is brand new, instead of being a renovation challenge, the final couples will compete to see who can add the design touches to make the home exactly right for them.

To make their design selections for the home, the finalists visited the Edward Andrews Homes Design Center in Alpharetta and worked with the company’s Exact Design Experts to make the design selections for their assigned spaces. Prior to arriving, the contestants took Edward Andrews' digital Style Quiz and Lifestyle Questionnaire so the Exact Design Experts could better understand their personal design styles and how the home would be used. This process is the same one Edward Andrews homebuyers follow, and it aims to simplify the custom home building experience and increase buyers’ confidence in their design decisions. The finalists were thrilled with the results of Edward Andrews’ research tools and found the information very helpful when selecting design elements for the final challenge.

"Working with the ‘Home Free’ team has been an amazing experience for our company," said Edward Andrews Senior Vice President of Marketing Caroline Simmel. "We know firsthand how much the competing couples appreciate the opportunity to win a home for their families, and we encourage the local real estate community and all Atlanta-area residents to follow these couples as they experience the highs and lows of this unique journey."

Tune in to Fox on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT to see Edward Andrews Homes on the season finale of HOME FREE and to find out who wins the grand-prize dream home! To learn more about Edward Andrews Homes, visit

Every Phoenix Pass program graduate family is stably housed.
