HomeAid Atlanta
This is the first ever Georgia Gives day!  Organized by the Georgia Center for Nonprofits, it is an effort to increase individual philanthropic giving in Georgia and raise awareness of the state’s nonprofit sector. Georgia Gives is a statewide initiative encouraging Georgia residents to donate to participating nonprofits through a website with the goal of raising as much money as possible in a 24 hour period - an online "flash mob" of giving.

Georgia Gives Day is this Thursday, December 6, 2012.  www.GAgivesday.org  makes donating easy by organizing nonprofits on one website, providing key facts about these charities and facilitates online donations by credit card or echeck.

You may donate to HomeAid Atlanta at anytime, but this is a great opportunity to be part of a historical event!  Visit https://www.gagivesday.org/c/GGD/a/homeaidatlanta  (donations are taken before or after 12/6 as well) to make your donation.

Thank you for your support and generosity!

The Homeowner Handbook is a valuable tool for builders to help reduce warranty calls and increase professionalism. It is a home owner's reference tool that clearly defines homeowner maintenance responsibilities and builder responsibilities during the one-year warranty period. Used in conjunction with the HBA's limited warranty document, the Handbook serves as a builder's one-year warranty.

How the Handbook Can Benefit You

The Homeowner Handbook has earned a respectable reputation throughout the metro area among builders, real estate professionals and home buyers. Often, the HBA is called by perspective home buyers requesting names of builders who use the Homeowner Handbook or interested in purchasing their own copy as a resource.

Regain control of the warranty process: The Homeowner Handbook is a valuable tool for creating satisfied customers and allows builders to control the warranty process. When used in partnership with the One Year Limited Warranty contract, the Homeowner Handbook becomes a legally binding document that very clearly sets homeowner expectations and saves builders time by educating home buyers, resulting in less calls and complaints.

Great marketing tool: In addition to a warranty tool, the Handbook is a new home buyer's resource guide to home maintenance and care. By detailing useful and simple steps in preserving and protecting a home, it begins to establish the thought process that the responsibility of the house belongs to the new owner. Repair and warranty items are clearly stated so that the builder's responsibilities and simple home maintenance items are defined.

Increased professionalism: The Handbook is an established set of building performance standards and is a useful resource for builders in ensuring they deliver the highest quality product and services to their customers. Builders who use the Homeowner Handbook know that it is a way of doing business that improves communication with home buyers and helps you effectively manage their expectations.

Home Care System: It's all in the presentation! Present your new home buyers with the Home Care System, a three-ring binder system designed to keep the busy new home buyer organized for years to come. Included in the system is a copy of the Homeowner Handbook, the limited warranty contract and tabbed dividers that assist in the organization of appliance warranties, home design and decoration information, builder contact and profile, and other relevant contracts.
