This annual spring showcase of new homes across metro Atlanta will take place in late April to early May. Several members of our local Professional Women in Building (PWB) Council have been nominated for 2018 Leadership Awards by the NAHB PWB Council. Betsy Sheppard of Gilbert & Sheppard Group has been nominated for Woman of the Year, and three local members have been nominated for the One to Watch award. The winners will be announced at the PWB Awards Luncheon on February 20 during the International Builders' Show in Las Vegas.

All members are invited to attend the Home Builders Association of Georgia's upcoming Winter Meeting!
HBAG will host a Legislative Reception from 4:30-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, at the "Sloppy" Floyd Veterans Memorial Building. Members are encouraged to take their legislators to dinner afterwards. 
The HBAG Legislative Rally will start at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, at the Capitol, followed by the Winter Board Meeting, which will take place at 12:00 p.m. at the Freight Depot across the street.

The association is excited to announce the revision of the GAHBA contracts! Frank Brown of Weissman Attorneys at Law has rewritten the contracts, and the 2018 version is now available for purchase through the online bookstore. When you purchase the 2018 GAHBA contracts online, you will receive a link to download the contract files.

The contracts are FREE for GAHBA members, $12 for members of other HBAs, and $22 for non-members.

We are asking that you stop using any old versions of the contracts and only use the 2018 contracts.
