Woodstock: Woodstock's current moratorium on townhomes is scheduled to run through the end of September. The city is hoping a proposed code amendment will allow the moratorium to end earlier. The proposed amendment is up for a vote by the city council on July 23.
Brookhaven: Brookhaven is writing their Zoning Ordinance and is looking for input. Comments can be submitted by creating an account and annotating the document directly through the consultant’s CivicComment site. Click here to access the site.

Calling all volunteers! The Cobb/Cherokee Chapter is partnering with HomeAid Atlanta for a Care Day at Sheltering Grace Ministries, a shelter that provides housing and support for homeless pregnant women. The home is in need of interior and exterior painting, landscaping clean-up, interior cleaning, and a small remodeling project. All tools, equipment, and lunch for volunteers will be provided. The Greater Atlanta HBA is excited to announce the revision of the HBA contracts! Frank Brown of Weissman Attorneys at Law has rewritten the contracts, and the 2018 version is now available for purchase through the online bookstore. When you purchase the 2018 HBA contracts online, you will receive a link to download the contract files.
The contracts are $12 for HBA members and $22 for non-members.
We are asking that you stop using any old versions of the contracts and only use the 2018 contracts.
