The New Member Orientation will help members get the most out of their HBA membership. Come meet the staff, learn about exclusive member benefits, and find out about fun and educational events coming up in 2018. Lunch will be provided. The cost is free, but registration is requested.

All members are encouraged to attend our upcoming Board of Directors meeting -- come get involved and find out how the HBA works! Lunch will be provided. We will also be participating in HomeAid Atlanta's Stock the House drive. Meeting attendees are encouraged to donate household items for HomeAid's current renovation project at Jesus Set the Captive Free, a facility for formerly incarcerated veterans and other men who are working to rebuild their lives. Over the past 20 years, the Sales and Marketing Council of the Greater Atlanta HBA has raised nearly $100,000 in support of worthwhile charities helping children and adults in need by hosting its ever popular silent auction fundraising event. All proceeds from this year's silent auction will benefit HomeAid Atlanta, the HBA's designated charity! HomeAid Atlanta fulfills its mission of building new lives for homeless families and individuals through housing projects and community outreach. We hope you can join us for a great night!

Our Cirque-Tacular Extravaganza, this year's SMC Silent Auction/HBA Holiday Party, is scheduled for December 7 at the Hyatt Perimeter at Villa Christina. In addition to the items pictured here, the auction will include everything from vacation packages to gift cards to Braves tickets -- you definitely won't want to miss it! Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit HomeAid Atlanta, the designated charity of the Greater Atlanta HBA, which aids the homeless population of Atlanta through building projects and community outreach. Come support this worthy cause and celebrate the holiday season with fellow HBA members!

HomeAid Atlanta's current renovation project at Clifton Sanctuary Ministries is being led by volunteer Builder Captain Pat Morgan of First Street Builders. Clifton serves homeless men age 35+ by providing emergency shelter, transitional housing, counseling, and programs that enable them to rebuild their lives. To date, HomeAid has saved Clifton more than 40% on the cost of this project.

This training is for contractors, builders, and developers to prepare, install, and establish green infrastructure and low impact development best management practices as identified in the 2016 edition of the Georgia Stormwater Management Manual (GSMM – ‘Blue Book’). The Atlanta training will include a hands-on installation of a Bioretention Area, so please dress appropriately. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
