Over the past twenty years, the Sales and Marketing Council of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association has raised nearly $100,000 in support of worthwhile charities helping children and adults in need by hosting its ever popular silent auction fundraising event. All proceeds from this year's Silent Auction event  will benefit HomeAid Atlanta, the HBA's designated charity! HomeAid Atlanta, fulfills the mission of building new lives for homeless families and individuals through housing and community outreach. We hope you can join us for a great night!

The HBA's Professional Women in Building Council held a Dinner Program Meeting on November 8 with guest speaker Jeffery Tobias Halter, the president of YWomen, a strategic consulting company focused on engaging men in women's leadership issues.


HomeAid Atlanta Builder Captain James MacDowell (center) and his team from Unique Homes and Renovations are making great progress on the renovation project for Jesus Set the Captive Free (JSCF) in southwest Atlanta. When complete, the home will provide a place for formerly incarcerated homeless men to rebuild their lives. Thank you to James and everyone at Unique Homes and Renovations for helping build new lives with HomeAid at JSCF!

This training is for contractors, builders, and developers to prepare, install, and establish green infrastructure and low impact development best management practices as identified in the 2016 edition of the Georgia Stormwater Management Manual (GSMM – ‘Blue Book’). The Atlanta training will include a hands-on installation of a Bioretention Area, so please dress appropriately. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided.
