The Construction Management Program Advisory Committee from Gwinnett Technical College has a beneficial employment proposal to share. Currently the college has a large number of students who will be completing their Construction Management Program, several of them at an Associate’s degree level, in the next couple of weeks. These students are prepared to work and are looking for entry-level, apprenticeship type positions. We believe this effort would serve both the students and potential employers very well.

We’re sharing this opportunity with the Home Builders Association members who may have interest in these new construction candidates. For more information, instructor Dr. David Bowers can be contacted here:

Homeaid Atlanta

In early June, HomeAid Atlanta partnered with three Atlanta businesses for a series of HomeAid Care Days at Haven ATL: BrightView, Juneau Construction Company, and Overhead Door Company of Atlanta. Thanks to the hard work of volunteers from these generous companies, as well as donations from BMC, The Home Depot, and Sherwin-Williams, HomeAid and its partners provided a savings of approximately $20,000 for Haven ATL.

Photos from HomeAid’s 2017 Housing the Homeless Golf Tournament on June 5th have been posted on HomeAid’s Facebook page! Thanks to tournament Photography Sponsor Northwest Exterminating.
