HomeAid Atlanta is spending the entire month of November raising awareness to help to end homelessness in Atlanta as part of an annual event called HomeAid Homelessness Awareness Month. On social media, HomeAid will be sharing stories, statistics, and ways you can take action to help build new lives for Atlanta’s homeless. Additionally in November, HomeAid is facilitating three HomeAid Care Days, day-long volunteer-powered events to make improvements and upgrades for Atlanta’s homeless shelters and transitional housing facilities. On November 3, HomeAid partnered with the United Way of Greater Atlanta for the annual Innovation Forum. HomeAid board president Kevin Aycock led a presentation and served on a panel discussing HomeAid’s innovative method of working to end homelessness. HomeAid hopes to inspire others to take action to help build new lives for Atlanta’s homeless this November.
