Are you ready for the new code that started in January?

Join us for this short session that will help you to understand the major changes and implications for the new codes starting in 2014! Georgia adopted the 2012 International Residential Code (IRC) effective on January 1, 2014. This session will examine the changes from the 2006 and 2009 IRC editions that will effect planning and implementation of new permit work. Participants will also get an overview of the proposed Georgia Amendments.

Daniel Jewitt will facilitate this session. Daniel has been an instructor for more than 15 years. He has specialized in training for the International Residential Code (IRC) and for test preparation for Georgia Contractor Licensing. Besides experience as a home inspector, Daniel has a BA in History and  Political Science from Kent State University.

Who should attend? Anyone involved in the design, planning, construction, or inspection of residential construction can benefit from the knowledge base offered in this class.
