Forsyth County Planning & Community Development is launching an on-line application process. Along with the service provider, ePlan Solutions, Inc., Forsyth County is providing an on-line service for plan submittal and review for submittal of preliminary plats, minor plats, commercial building plans, construction plans, signs, final plats and as-builts. This streamlined process is available 24/7, 365 days of the year!

A training class will be provided by Forsyth County and ePlan Solutions. The first class will be on Tuesday, February 20, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the commissioners meeting room. This is on the second floor at 110 E Main Street, Cumming. Lunch is being provided by ePlan Solutions, Inc. In order to best plan for lunch, an RSVP will be helpful, but not required.    You can RSVP by sending an email to or by calling (678) 455-8473.

There is a nominal cost for the service; however, for plan submittals and plan revisions, you can save time and gasoline by not driving to the County Administration building. You are notified as soon as plans are reviewed. Then, you make an appointment to pick up plans and pay your review fees. This service is used successfully by numerous other jurisdictions.

Please Note: Visitors doing business at the Forsyth County Courthouse should use the parking lot at the southwest corner of Maple Street and Castleberry Road. Parking areas for both the public and for county employees are designated at the County Administration Building. Additional weekday parking from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the public and for county employees is available at Cumming Baptist Church (spaces marked with a red dot only).
