HomeAid Atlanta Kitchen Renovation at Atlanta Mission Fuqua Hall

Thank you to builder captains Dan Mattox of Builders II and Carl Riden of Redmont Homes for leading the kitchen renovation for Fuqua Hall.  Atlanta Mission’s Fuqua Hall offers affordable, transitional housing for men who have completed Atlanta Mission Shelter or recovery programs.  The kitchen was in desperate need of renovation, with many items in disrepair and not enough equipment for the men to cook their own meals or for the group to host cooking classes.  The kitchen, which is scheduled for completion in mid-January, will feature new flooring, cabinets, countertops, backsplash and ventilation for a new range hood.  New appliances will include refrigerators, freezers, a new range, dishwasher and garbage disposal.  Trade partners include Founders Kitchen & Bath, Construction Resources/Atlanta Marble Mfg., Inc., GE Appliances, Interceramic Tile & Stone Gallery, Ai Group, McCart Plumbing, and Fuqua Hall donors as well.
