HBA Member Releases New Book on Housing Crisis

Greater Atlanta HBA member Hugh Morton released a new book in early January on the housing crisis entitled The Great American Housing Fiasco: An Inside View of the Mortgage Crisis.   Morton is the President of Peachtree Homes, Inc. which has built over 2,500 homes in Georgia over the past twenty years.

As the title suggests, the 235 page book gives an insider’s explanation of the genesis of the current housing calamity and the many missteps by regulators and lenders that have made it so much worse. It also includes many ideas on how we might end this nightmare that has descended on our industry over the past four years. It is as one friend described, "a unique view from the trenches that is not being told." Should you read it, you will agree it is the most complete work that has been written on the subject.

If you wish, you can purchase a copy in book form at a reduced friends and family price using the link http://thegreatamericanhousingfiasco.com/.

You can, of course, purchase it from Amazon, Barnes and Noble or other book stores.
