Practical Applications of the New Fall Protection Regulations

February 9, 9 a.m. -12:30 p.m.

Do you know how to apply the new fall protection guidelines on the jobsite? Are you liable for what is not being done?

Don’t take chances with your company! Join us for three hours to enhance your knowledge and abilities on the jobsite everyday! OSHA can fine companies up to $70,000 per citation!

Participants in this session will learn:
•    The history of the guidelines.
•    How to properly apply the guidelines to your company and jobs.
•    Practical Applications for:
•    Railing Systems
•    Net Systems
•    Personal Fall Arrest Systems (PFAS)
•    Fall Protection Processes

There will also be hands on demonstrations with common fall protection equipment.

Patrick Marcotte will facilitate this session. Patrick has over 21 years experience as a Health and Safety Professional.  He has worked as a Health and Safety Consultant as well as been a Health and Safety Manager for an industrial operation.  As a Regional Director, Health and Safety, Patrick assists with the development of accident prevention programs, training and implementation.  He has worked as a consultant with contractors in the Midwest and Southeast.  In his role as a consultant he has monitored jobsites, developed resources and provided training to address safety concerns.
