EarthCraft House Building

January 20, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at Southface SWEET Center

Make a smart investment in the Southeast’s growing green building sector – one that will increase your marketability, save your clients money and boost your overall revenues!

EarthCraft House is a voluntary green building program of the Greater Atlanta HBA and Southface Energy Institute. The program serves as a blueprint for healthy, comfortable homes that not only reduce utility bills, but also protect the environment.  Any size or style of new home can be certified under the program by meeting EarthCraft House guidelines. The advantages of building an EarthCraft House are:
•    Reduced callbacks;
•    Product differentiation;
•    Increased profit; and
•    Access to energy-efficient mortgage programs.

Attend this session and learn:
•    How to apply high-performance construction techniques to new homes;
•    How to improve the energy efficiency, indoor air quality and durability of those homes; and
•    How to certify a new home as an EarthCraft House.

Note: To become an EarthCraft House Builder, you must attend an EarthCraft House class and then submit an application (along with the application fee) to the Greater Atlanta HBA.

Cost: $150 Greater Atlanta HBA member, $175 other HBA member, $200 non-member.
Cont. Ed: 6 CPHB, 6 GA Bldr License
